God Eater

Some of you guys may be familiar with or heard of the action adventure PSP game "God Eater" by Namco. The game is similar to popular Monster Hunter series, where the player teams up with up with friends to beat up huge monsters. The key difference between God Eater and Monster Hunter is, God Eater has a complete storyline and voice acting in single-player mode with over 100 missions that can also be played in 4 player co-op mode (local adhoc wireless multiplayer or Adhoc Party for those of you with PS3s) or team up with cpu teammates.

Players will be able to fully customize their characters to make their own unique looks, from hair style, color, skin, clothing, voice and not to mention weapons with their special materials. The game has a unique system of weapons that are split into three parts. Blades, shields and guns. They all have three different groups within those choices as well. Weapons can be switched between melee, ranged or shield mode at anytime.

Looks pretty damn awesome, doesn't it?

We're all looking forward to playing this. So far no exact release. The original game was released in Japan February 4th, 2010 but instead of releasing that version, for a slight delay, North American fans will be able to play the updated "God Eater Burst" version. Consider it the "ultimate version" with modifications, enhanced gameplay, and additional content and features. North American release is set at TBA 2011. Keep an eye out for this one!
